    The major goal should be to reduce the recidivism rate for the good of those released and for society. I believe of the choices offered Treatment and Rehabilitation would best serve that goal, Helping ensure people have job opportunities and places to live until they are on their feet would also be a good way to spend the funds. Maybe someone can convince me otherwise.

    New Life For You and other such organizations are really important.

    I am going with Education out of the options given here as I believe it is the one that is the most encompassing. I truly believe that our focus should be on prevention (however much that is possible) and that can be done through an education of how the system works, how to work towards dismantling said system and how to elevate ones self from a system that was designed to keep you sick, imprisoned and oblivious on how to break the cycles that have kept entire generations of people impoverished and oppressed.

    I say education because if they have the right education and they are being productive they won’t need rehabilitation…
